First rooftop bar and there’s amazing views of the city. Very peaceful place... The dessert beignets were probably the best I’ve ever had in Louisiana. They go good with an espresso martini
We kicked off our wedding weekend with a welcome party at Rosie’s on the Roof and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The view was even more stunning than I could have expected and all of our out-of-town guests were so impressed. We had a satellite bar and a section of the rooftop reserved for our party and it was so fun! The bartenders and staff were extremely warm, kind, and accommodating. When my feet were sore from wearing heels all evening, the staff went above and beyond and even got me some house slippers from the hotel downstairs! Truly outstanding service and I couldn’t recommend having your party or event here enough!
I visited this establishment yesterday, and it was great! It’s located inside the Higgins Hotel. The workers were attentive and kind. The food was decent; it’s nothing I’d pay for again. The view was beautiful. No, you do not have to pay to go here or be a hotel guest; parking is minimal, so be prepared to pay to park & walk. What I found to be a plus is the women’s restroom has hygiene products, which I feel was so convenient & thoughtful of them. Thanks Fatma, you were truly one of the best bartenders ever!
First impressions are everything and I was impressed with this place! We sat outside at first, but due to a little light rain we ended up sitting at the bar! The bartender was nice and made some great drinks. We ordered the barbecue wings and a burger which came with some unique cut French fries. It was Delicious! I would definitely come back.
What a fun rooftopbar at The Higgins Hotel, across Magazine Street from the National WWII Museum. Rosie the Riverter theme. Good Happy Hour. Waitstaff was attentive. We had the crab stuff beignets and they were delicious. The deck has great ciews of the City
Based on other reviews, it does look like the menu has shrunk greatly. Other than our server not coming by frequently to take our order, filling up our waters, and giving us the check, it was good. Beignets and crab beignets were excellent. I was actually surprised, and had low expectations coming in, but they were really good. I will come again to get the biegnets if I stay at the Higgins again. That being said, I do think 20 for crab beignets is high though. I think 10 for 5 beignets is reasonable.
It was my first time here and this place surprised me with an amazing view! The food was good. Great atmosphere! #FirstTime #AmazingView #GoodFood #GreatAtmosphere

Let’s talk about the food: • Cajun shrimp tacos – An explosion of flavor! Fresh, spicy, and packed with that NOLA kick. Easily one of the best bites of the day. • Rosie’s chicken wings – Crispy, saucy, and cooked just right. The perfect balance of heat and flavor. • Crawfish beignets – Golden on the outside, soft and savory on the inside—pure Louisiana soul in every bite. And the drinks? • Pina colada – Smooth, creamy, and refreshing. A tropical escape in a glass—perfect for that rooftop vibe.
